1. Treats breastfeeding problems

Having problem of milk supply during breastfeeding? Fennel seeds have been used in traditional medicine to increase the production of milk in women. Fennel seeds have an estrogen like component that is responsible for increasing milk production. Try fennel seeds tea.

 

2. Cures Menopausal Symptoms

Fennels seeds are considered as “wonder plant” for women. They help in treating menopausal symptoms (like include night sweats, hot flushes, depression, high BP, bloating, vaginal dryness, palpitations etc) as well as other female reproductive issues like dysmenorrhea, ovarian problems.

The component, antehole in fennel seeds acts like phytoestrogen and helps in relieving signs of menopause. Boil fennel seeds in a cup of water, add milk or sugar if desired.
