Gall bladder is an organ that aids to digest fats by collecting and concentrating bile that is produced by the liver. The most common problem that can occur in gall bladder is gall stones, crystallized bits of one or more components of bile and when this condition occurs it is called as “Choleithiasis”. Abnormal concentration of bile acids, cholesterol and phospholipids in the bile can cause the formation of gallstones.

The factors involved in the chances of developing this disorder are obesity, diet lacking fiber, excess cholesterol in the diet, lack of minerals such as calcium, magnesium and folates and Vitamin C. Here are  few natural remedies that can help to reduce the risk of gallstone formation.

 

1.  Apple Cider Vinegar

It also helps in relieving the pain.  Add two teaspoons for apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of lemon juice in a glass of warm water and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning. Regularly drinking this, could help in dissolving the gallstones and prevent pain.

 

2. Olive oil

Olive Oil  stimulates bile flow and helps in stopping the crystallization. An ingredient present in olive oil helps reduce the cholesterol levels in the blood and gallbladder. Fennel tonic and water are used for treating gall stones, yellow jaundice and gout. To prepare fennel water at home boil 300 grams of the seeds in two liters of water for 20 minutes. Strain and drink the water daily for 10 days.

8. Ginger root
